RANGE OF USE

250 Carbon BW
The ultimate backwing for intermediate and advanced riders for both winging and windsurf foiling. Great turning and speed while keeping the good control. Also recommend form entry level  kids and light riders.

280 Carbon BW
The 280 is a beginner to intermediate backwing that give you additional stability and flight control with a good speed potential. Recommended with big frontwings 2000 and 1600 on the wingfoil or for really heavy riders that want to improve the stall speed or need ultra light wind performance.

Backwing shimming and trim advice:
All our A.I.O. backwings offer a stepless angle of attack adjustment. Put a steep angle (+) for maximum flight stability or less angle of attack (-) for more speed and a more alive feeling. Don't believe the internet that a steep backwing creates more "power". Try to see it more like creating more or less downforce (like a backwing of a formula one car). That's why clever people call the backwing the stabiliser or stab. Putting more backwing angle equals moving the foilmast forward - true - but in the end putting more angle creates more downforce and more drag, resulting in more flight control and stability... not more "power" (A flat backwing performs better in light wind than a steep backwing because it has less drag).

For beginners and more control in jibes put the maximum angle of attack on the backwing and adjust mast position backwards or foot straps more forward accordingly.
For advanced riders choose a flatter backwing (-) for more speed or more pop in jumps and move the mast forward or put the footstraps more backwards accordingly.
A 1° degree change of angle of attack can roughly be translated into 3-6cm of mast movement or foot strap position change.
Advances riders but also beginners can experiment with riding bigger backwings flat or smaller backwings steeper to find their perfect setup. Just don't overthink it and stay with our recommendations above before you start wasting precious water time.
