We’ve reshaped the new 2025 Atmos, giving it a balanced flex pattern for responsive and dynamic load and release, with precise edge control for powerful upwind tracking. Strategically placed layers of unidirectional carbon tape in the Triaxial Hybrid Carbon construction help deliver a well-balanced dynamic flex. The Atmos rides overpowered with ease and control yet still enables early planing and low-end performance. The harmony between medium rocker, progressive outline, and flex makes this the ultimate board to take you to the next level in all conditions. Edge harder and release into Earth's atmosphere. All North TwinTips feature the new FlipTech Mounting System, with centreline inserts for added rail longevity.

Precise edge control

The harmonious equilibrium between rocker, outline and flex creates a board with quick response perfect for lining up that kicker, edging hard and boosting high. For 2025, the bottom shape has been updated to incorporate edge channels outside of the double concave for even greater edge control. A serious step up in performance.

Triaxial Hybrid Carbon construction

Strategically placed layers of 3DY unidirectional carbon tape reinforce the laminate in high load areas. This layup is sandwiched with a Paulownia wood core to deliver a well-balanced, more forgiving flex so you can ride for longer, with flow and form.

Medium rocker with balanced flex pattern

Pressed differently to the Carbon, the Atmos Hybrid has a different feel because of the flex pattern – which is due to the bottom shape, the Custom Triax fibreglass and 3DY carbon UD reinforcement.

New Impact-absorbing double concave to deep-v centre spine

We’ve updated the Atmos for 2025 with a double concave to deep-v centre spine for smoother landings and better tracking. The updated quad channel tips help push the water flow out towards the fins, making them more effective in terms of tracking.

Dynamic Flex

Core thickness variations and taper, as well as detailing, longitudinally and laterally, play the most significant role in controlling the overall flex and feel. Board specific laminate layups then allow us to further fine tune the flex and board characteristics. We adjust the stiffness lengthwise and torsionally in conjunction with the rocker line, plan shape view and profile of the board, to give each board its specific performance characteristics.

Lightweight, impact resistant paulownia wood core

Ultra-lightweight, with a high shear strength and high impact resistance, Paulownia wood forms a non-toxic core. Each board has a customised core thickness individually fine-tuned to ensure its characteristics are consistent throughout the range, no matter your size or weight.

Pure-comfort seamless KnitFlex inners and triple-density GripFlex footbeds are combined with customised size and stance adjustments for a locked-in feel and dependable support. Sold separately in sizes S/M or M/L.
