The contact with the board is firm and direct for flawless foil handling, while still providing the cushioning of a 5mm pad.

The HIPE, as their name suggests "High Inflatable Performance Evolution," are the result of extensive development, merging the best of high-end composite and inflatable technologies.
The HIPE Diamond consists of a secure and generously sized float with double-layer welded Woven Dropstitch technology combined with our carbon plate that absorbs all the foil's forces. This GONG innovation of two boards in one is revolutionary.
A masterpiece of composite craftsmanship, made of full prepreg and high-density foam stringers, the plate is securely bonded under the inflatable structure. It covers the entire stance between the rider's feet. Mechanical efforts are thus perfectly transmitted to the foil, yet it remains short enough to fit the board into a backpack. You can thus enjoy all the benefits of an inflatable board without compromising your practice.
